Logit was founded in 2011 to innovate the industry of subtitling on a national and international level by a group of Italian entrepreneurs expert in transcription, reporting and translation.
In 2012, Logit started its longlasting and still ongoing partnership with RAI Radio Televisione Italiana, making Logit the only official supplier of the public service for live and pre-recorded subtitling.
In addition to the main national networks (Rai 1, Rai 2, Rai 3),
Logit is also responsible for subtitling on the web portal RaiPlay.
Over the years, Logit has created new proprietary software and hardware that are used on a daily basis to complete assignments and uphold the highest standard required by each client thanks to its technical department. Its main goal: constantly optimizing workflows and developing new, technologically up-to-date platforms.
Since 2017, Logit has an ongoing collaboration with two universities in Rome - UNINT
and San Domenico SSML
- that consists in organizing post-graduate Master courses focused on the audiovisual world and, in particular, on television subtitling.
In 2018, Logit became the official partner
for the Italian edition of the world event Google Cloud Next,
providing the live subtitling (Livenote).
In 2019, the Municipality of Rome
and the Chamber of Deputies
joined Logit's client base,
starting a partnership based on court reporting and transcription assignments.
